"Architekt" is the moniker I used for all my DJ and production related activities. This has wound down substantially in the past years. I started DJing (quite poorly) around 1999 after joing the DJ club at UCSD. At the time, my roomate (Tommy Woo) and I had only the following items in our apartment:
Beds
A beanbag chair
TV (no stand)
Coffee table
Desks for computer (and the computer)
Folding lunch table with turntables, speakers, and production equipment
My oldest tracks are all of terrible quality. I have no idea why I didn't retain the original .WAV files and project files but only have low bitrate MP3s. My musical style when I DJ tends to be mostly hard and minimal, with occasional notes of booty. I try to play about 20-30 tracks in an hour. It most certainly is not "epic", "progressive", "trancy", of or relating to trance. One might say I hate trance and all of its derivatives. Or emo sounding things. Or music that smacks of Prozac.
On the subsequent web pages are a collection of tracks and mixsets I've created over the years. Feel free to download and listen to them.
